A Hazelwood resident spotted a man breaking into a neighbor’s home Friday and called police.
Toliver Thurston, 29, of the 5200 block of Plover Avenue in St. Louis, was charged Saturday with second-degree burglary.
Hazelwood Police said he broke into the home in the 8300 block of Richwood Lane. Officers stopped his vehicle near the burglarized home.

Thurston is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $30,000.
