Mother Stomped On 14-Year-Old Daughter; Blood Found In Girl's Urine

Hazelwood Police said Harmony M. Camden hit her daughter in the face and ear, then stomped on her back and side on Monday.

A Hazelwood woman is accused of hitting and stomping on her daughter Monday. Blood was later found in the girl’s urine when she was treated for her injuries.

Harmony M. Camden, 37, of the 100 block of Reasor Drive in Hazelwood, was charged Tuesday with abuse of a child, a class C felony.

Hazelwood Police said Camden and her 14-year-old daughter were arguing in their home Monday. Camden then hit her daughter in the face and ear, kicked her and stomped on her back and side, police said.

The girl was taken to the hospital and treated for abrasions, and blood was found in her urine.

Camden is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $25,000.
