Man Shot Multiple Times in Hazelwood Near James S. McDonnell Blvd.

The Hazelwood Police Department said the injuries are not life-threatening.

A man is in stable condition after surviving a shooting attack. 

According to the Hazelwood Police Department, a man whose identity has not been released, was shot multiple times in Hazelwood.

Hazelwood Police Department officers responded to the 700 block of James S. McDonnell Blvd., after receiving a call that a man had been shot Saturday around 2:27 a.m. 

According to a statement Sgt. Ken Eckardt emailed Patch, the initial investigation is showing the man may have been shot at that location or nearby before driving his vehicle from the scene.

Police later spoke with a woman also in the car that said they were leaving QuikTrip when an unknown vehicle pulled up at people they didn't know began shooting into the car as they drove towards Interstate-270. 

The man drove himself to the hospital. 

Echardt said there is no suspect information at this time.
