July Police Blotter: A Burglary Confession and An Intoxicated Mother Driving With Children in the Car

The usual take the list as we review some crimes that have plagued Hazelwood this past month.

JULY 24

STEALING: A room was broken into and a credit card and money were stolen in the 7100 block of Douglas Palmer.

RUNAWAY: A juvenile in the 150 block of Anistasia rand away from home while mother was questioning him about having a friend in his room.

JULY 23

 ASSAULT: Five juveniles assaulted another juvenile at St. Louis Mills. The suspects fled the scene.

DRUG POSSESSION: Police found drugs inside of a car during a traffic stop in the 7400 block of North Highway 67.

VEHICLE THEFT: A vehicle with the keys in the ignition was stolen in the 600 block of Lambert Point. It later was recovered in the 500 block of Fee Fee Road.

STEALING: A suspect drove away without paying for gasoline in the 6000 block of Howdershell Road.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: An attempt was made to pry open an apartment door in the 5900 block of Boulder Creek Court.

JULY 22

RESISTING ARREST: Police arrested a man who fled from a traffic stop in the 5400 block of Forest Creek Drive. Officers arrested him in his apartment.

STEALING: A vehicle was broken into and a stereo was stolen in the 6900 block of Noble Drive.

STEALING: Polices arrested a suspect that stole an ammunition clip from Cabela's at St. Louis Mills.

JULY 19

VEHICLE THEFT: A car that was stolen in the 400 block of Elm Grove Lane was recovered in Maryland Heights.

LEAVING THE SCENE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: A man hit a parked car and fled the scene on foot in the 500 block of Village Square. Police identified the individual via items he left at the scene and he was entered as wanted.

THIRD DEGREE DOMESTIC ASSAULT: A man slapped is girlfriend in the 7550 block of Hazelcrest Drive. He is now wanted by police.

THEFT: Copper was stolen at Park 370.

JULY 17

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Police arrested a woman in the 1000 block of Pinecone Trails for disturbing the peace and failure to comply to an order.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Police arrested a son who assaulted his stepfather in the 6300 block of North Highway 67.

BURGLARY: A vacant house was broken into and copper pipes were stolen in the 8400 block of Lariat Drive.

LARCENY: Stereo speakers were taken from a car in the 6900 block of Noble Drive.

JULY 16

THEFT: A vehicle was broken into and a purse and backpack were stolen in the 300 block of Taylor Road.

ASSAULT: A sister-in-law fired a stun gun at her brother-in-law in the 300 block of Chaparrall Creek.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: A man hit a woman in the 7200 block of Tama and was arrested.

JULY 15

STEALING: A set of keys were taken off a store counter in the 6000 block of North Lindbergh Boulevard.

JULY 14

BURGLARY: Police arrested a man who confessed to a burglary in the 5500 block of Knollwood Park Court. Police had stopped the man at McDonnell Boulevard and Interstate 270 where he confessed to the burglary.

JULY 11

FRAUD: A stolen debit card was used at a business in the 7300 block of Normandie Court.

JULY 10

STEALING: Several items were stolen from a vehicle in the 8700 block of Pershall Road.

STEALING: A license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 5400 block of Knoll Creek Court.

ARMED ROBBERY: A man was robbed at gunpoint 1:36 a.m. in the 200 block of Williams Drive. The victim was walking on the street when a van stopped and the suspect stepped out with a handgun.

JULY 9

ARMED ROBBERY: A juvenile male was robbed of his book bag that held clothes, a wallet with $8 and his cell phone in the 200 block of Williams Drive.

FUGITIVE ARREST: Police arrested a suspect for fugitive warrants following a disturbance call in the 8900 block of Dunn Road.

FUGITIVE ARREST: Police arrested a suspect for fugitive warrants during a traffic stop in the 700 block of Howdershell Road.

STEALING: A weed eater was stolen from a garage in the 500 block of Utz Road.

JULY 8

PROTECTIVE CUSTODY: Police found an intoxicated women laying in a parking lot in the 7500 block of North Highway 67. She was taken into protective custody.

STEALING: An iPad was stolen after the victim had left it on top of her vehicle in the 5200 block of Villa Rosa Lane.

JULY 4

DRUG ARREST: Police arrested a man for marijuana possession in the 7300 block of North Hanley Road. The arrest came during a traffic stop.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY: Police arrested two suspects for possession of stolen property at a business in the 5900 block of Howdershell Road. The suspect had paid for gasoline with stolen coins taken from a recent burglary in the 300 block of Impala Lane.

JULY 3

SHOTS FIRED: Police responded to a call about gun shots in the Pershall Park area. Police checked the location and found no shooters or bullets.

DRUG POSSESSION: Police arrested a motorist for drug possession in the 6200 block of Howdershell Road. The arrest came during a traffic stop.

CURFEW VIOLATION: Police arrested two juveniles for curfew violation in the 900 block of Shamrock Drive.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Police responded to a call about domestic assault between a husband and a wife in the 100 block of Grether Avenue.

JULY 2

STEALING FROM VEHICLE: A vehicle was broken into in the 7300 block of North Hanley Road.

JULY 1

STEALING: Used cooking oil was stolen from a business in the 6100 block of Howdershell Road.

STEALING FROM VEHICLE: A vehicle was broken into in the 200 block of Chaparrell Creek Drive. A wallet and credit cards were taken.

JUNE 30

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: Police arrested a suspect for driving a stolen vehicle at North Hanley and Pershall roads.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED/ ENDANGERING WELFARE OF CHILD: Police arrested a mother for driving while intoxicated with three small children in her car in the 6000 block of Howdershell Road.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: The front glass door of a building was shattered in the 8300 block of Buddie Drive.

JUNE 28

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: Police found a stolen vehicle in the 1200 block of White Moon Way. The vehicle was stolen in St. Louis County.
