Hazelwood Woman Crashes Car, Passenger Taken to the Hospital

A House Springs teenager was riding in a car that struck a rock bluff Sunday in Jefferson County.

Around 3:25 p.m. on Sunday 20-year-old Hazelwood resident Kellie Davidson was driving her 1993 Honda Accord when she lost control of the vehicle westbound on Route 30.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the car left the roadway and struck a stop sign and a rock bluff at Scenic View Lane in Jefferson County.

Kordell Geiler, a 14-year-old from House Springs, was a passenger in the vehicle. Both Davidson and he were wearing a seat belt, per the report.

Kordell and Davidson were taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center via Big River Ambulance crew with minor injuries.

Davidson's car sustained extensive damage, and was towed from the accident scene.

No other cars or drivers were involved, according to the report.
