Hazelwood Woman Accused of Stealing $3K in Jewelry
Florissant Police said the woman also stole several medications from the home.
A Hazelwood woman is accused of breaking into a Florissant home and stealing more than $3,000 in jewelry and some medications. Tina Marie Beringer, 46, of the 1000 block of Teson Road in Hazelwood, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary, felony theft and stealing a controlled substance.
Florissant Police said Beringer broke a window and entered a home at about 5:15 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 1600 block of St. Malachy Lane in Florissant. Police said Beringer stole a gold ring, wedding band, diamond and pearl earrings, a necklace, gold bracelet, a gold and diamond necklace and several medications, including some controlled substances.
Bond was set at $25,000 for Beringer.
