Hazelwood Police Looking for Two Men Who Invaded Home, Shot Resident Tuesday Night

Hazelwood police are on the lookout for two suspects who they say shot a man late Tuesday night during a home invasion, according to a report from CBS.

The suspects reportedly burst into the victim’s apartment, located in the 7700 block of Chalmette, around 9:30 p.m.

When shots were fired, the 30-year-old man was struck in the leg. He’s expected to recover, CBS said.

The suspects then fled the scene on foot. Police didn’t say whether anything was taken from the apartment.

A shot was also fired in a home in the 200 block of Flora, but no injuries were reported.
