Hazelwood Police Investigating Double Suicide
The pair committed the act before Christmas, according to police.
The is investigating an apparent double suicide that occurred just a few days before Christmas on Dec. 20.
The suicides occurred in the 300 block of Chaparrall Creek. Although the deceased's identities have not been revealed, Hazelwood Police Lt. Ken Jewson did confirm that there were two females involved, ages 45 and 56 years.
Jewson also confirmed that there was a a suicide note.

"Physical and mental health issues played a major role in the suicide," he said. "This is still under investigation and we are waiting for a report from the medical examiner."
