Hazelwood Police Discover Stolen Goods in Two Local Pawn Shops

Today's blotter also includes cases of burglary and property damage.

Here’s a rundown of crime that occurred in the City of Hazelwood on Aug. 18. Hazelwood Patch attained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department.

  • Property Damage: A resident’s storm door was damaged in the 600 block of Coachlight.
  • Stealing by Deceit: Several stolen items were found at a pawn shop at 7751 N. Lindbergh. Stolen items were also found at the pawn shop at 7700 N. Lindbergh. Police are investigating both situations.
  • Burglary: Someone the homeowner knew broke into a home in the 7500 block of Hazelcrest and stole the victim’s gaming system. The victim identified the suspect and police are investigating.
  • Burglary: Sometime between 7 a.m. on Aug. 16 and 5:10 p.m. on Aug. 19, someone forced open the front door of a building in the 7200 block of North Hanley and stole electronics and coins.
