Hazelwood Man the Victim of an Armed Robbery

A Hazelwood man was the victim of an armed robbery in Hazelwood this week.

On Thursday March 31, Hazelwood Police officers responded to a call around at 11:20 p.m. reporting an armed robbery in the 200 block of Williams Street, according to a (HPD) press release.

Upon arrival, HPD officers contacted the victim who reported three men approached him on the street, according to the release. The release also states the victim said one of the individuals displayed a hand gun, then proceeded to take his cell phone and iPod.

According to he release, the victim then turned and ran, at which time he said he heard several gun shots. 

HPD could release no additional information as the investigation is ongoing.
