Hazelwood Man Stole TVs, Wedding Ring from Neighbor, Police Say

The man was charged with burglary and stealing in two 2011 incidents.

A Hazelwood man faces criminal charges after police said he broke into a home twice last year and stole items from a neighbor.

Rodney Williams, 34, of the 7200 block of Hazelcrest Drive in Hazelwood, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing.

Hazelwood Police said Williams entered another home in the 7200 block of Hazelcrest on June 25 and June 30, 2011, stealing two televisions and a gold wedding band. a total value estimated at $1,000.

Police said Williams pawned the ring.

Bail was set at $22,500 for Williams.
