Hazelwood Man Beat with Bat, Robbed by Acquaintance

December 3

First-Degree Assault and Robbery: A man was assaulted by another man he knew in the 1600 block of Ville Cecilia. The man hit the victim in the head with an aluminum bat, and took the victim's cell phone. The assailant has been identified and is wanted.

Stealing: A 10-speed bicycle was stolen from Prairie Commons Library.

Drug Arrest: Drugs were located during a traffic stop in the 7300 block of Howdershell Road. The driver was arrested.

Stealing: Cosmetics were stolen from the Howdershell Road Dollar General. The thief was identified and is now wanted.

December 4

Stealing: Two teenagers were arrested for stealing from the Howdershell Dollar General.

Stealing: 5555 St. Louis Mills; A wallet was stolen from a woman's purse while she was shopping at Burlington Coat Factory at St. Louis Outlet Mall.
