Hazelwood Crime: Thief Hits Car While Escaping Dollar General

And, a resident believes a neighbor may have stolen their juicer during a visit in Monday's crime report. The Hazelwood Police Department supplied the following information, and arrests or charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction.

Careless and Inconsiderate Driving/Resisting Arrest: A person was stopped at the intersection of Interstate-270 and N. Lindbergh Blvd. During the traffic stop, the person driving the vehicle sped off. The driver was later identified.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested for possession of possible heroin during a suspicious person check in the 7300 block of N. Hanley Rd.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested for possessing marijuana during a traffic stop in the 7300 block of N. Lindbergh Blvd.

Second-Degree Burglary: The front door to a house in the 400 block of Chaparrall Creek was pried open. Items were taken and the burglar escaped through the rear sliding glass door.

Stealing: A person stole items from Howdershell Road Dollar General and fled the scene. The person hit a car while trying to get away from the store. They were later caught, interviewed and warrants have been applied to charge with a crime.

Stealing: A person in the 300 block of Avant believes their neighbor stole their juicer.
