Hazelwood Crime: Man Refuses to Return Leased Car, Man Steals Socks

Plus, someone steals an apartment complex dryer and dumps it on the sidewalk after stealing its coins.

December 5

Stealing: A person stole a Samsung cell phone from display shelf at a cell phone kiosk at St. Louis Outlet Mall. The suspect was gone by the time police responded.

Second-Degree Burglary: Someone broke into a home in the 7000 block of Laupher in broad daylight.

Stealing: A person stole groceries from the Howdershell Dollar General.

Property Damage: Someone damaged Christmas lights in the 1900 block of Driftwood Trails.

December 6

Vehicle Theft: A man leased a truck from Degel Truck Center and did not return it when his lease expired. He was entered as wanted.

Stealing: A man stole socks from the Howdershell Dollar General.

Stealing: A person was arrested for stealing North Face items from Cabela's.

Fraud: Police are investigating a situation where a woman's identity was used to open lines of credit in the 6200 block of Tesson Park.

Fraud: A woman's sister used her identity to open lines of credit in the 200 block of Reasor. The woman is now wanted for questioning.

Drug Arrest: Police found people sitting in a car with marijuana during an investigation of an alarm going off in the 7300 block of North Lindbergh Boulevard. They were sitting in a car on the lot and were arrested.

Burglary: A clothes dryer was taken from the laundry room then left on the sidewalk after the coins were removed in the 7400 block of Hazelcrest.
