Hazelwood Crime: Car Owner Catches Man in His Car

A car door received damage at St. Louis Outlet Mall when someone attempted to break into it.

Car owner walked to his car in St. Louis Outlet Mall parking lot and saw a man wearing white gloves in the driver seat. After yelling at the man, he left the car and got into a blue newer model Pontiac Grand Prix, which left the area. The steering column was found peeled.

Someone damaged the lock of a car and stole the MP3 player from it at St. Louis Outlet Mall.

Someone stole a red and black Mongoose bicycle from the 5300 block of Knoll Creek.

Police responded to an incident of property damage at St. Louis Outlet Mall where the car owner found the car’s lock damaged. Nothing was stolen.

Police responded to a domestic assault situation between a husband and his estranged wife in the 1600 block of Hurstborough Manor. Their son was present and said no physical altercation took place. Police continue to investigate.

Police attempted to check out a pedestrian against a wanted person of the department when the person ran into their apartment and refused to come out in the 7500 block of Hazelcrest.
