Hazelwood Crime: Dentist Office Stiffed When Client Stops Check Payment
And, a man resists arrest and tries to run from police. The HPD supplied Thursday's crime report. Arrests or charges listed don't indicate conviction.
Here are a few of the crimes that occurred April 2 and April 3 in the City of Hazelwood. Hazelwood Patch obtained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department.

April 2
Fraud: A dentist office in the 8400 block of Pershall Road performed dental work on a patient that paid with a check. The office found out when it went to deposit the check that they patient had their bank stop payment on the check.

Identity Theft: A person in the 3900 block of Dunn Road had their debit card used out of state.
Drug Arrest: A person was arrested after drugs were found during a traffic stop at the intersection of Fee Fee Hills Road and N. Lindbergh Boulevard.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested after drugs were found during a traffic stop in the 7300 block of Howdershell Road.
April 3
Burglary: A person stole copper piping from a home in the 5300 block of Ville Angela.
Stealing: A student's cell phone was stolen at Hazelwood West High School.
Drug Arrest: A person was arrested after drugs were found during a suspicious vehicle check in the 9000 block of Dunn Road.
Resisting Arrest: A person resisted arrest after a suspicious person check at the intersection of Gott and Connolly. The person ran away from the scene but was later arrested.
