Copper Thieves Attempt to Steal from Vacant Hazelwood Business

Plus, a runaway teenager steals at St. Louis Outlet Mall.

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred on February 11 and February 12 in the City of Hazelwood. Hazelwood Patch attained the accounts from the Hazelwood Police Department.

February 13

Assault: Two teens fought each other in the 100 block of Connolly.

Stealing: Items were stolen from a vehicle in the on Hazelwood Ct.

Stealing: A man stolen from a business in the 7400 block of N. Lindbergh Blvd. The man hid items in his clothes and ran from the store. His license plate number was captured.

Stealing: Equipment was stolen from a property in the 8900 block of Dunn Rd.

February 14

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested for having marijuana in the 10 block of Teson Garden Walk.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested for having drugs in the 60 block of Flamingo.

February 15

Stealing: A license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Manning.

Stealing: Two people were arrested for stealing from Citi Trends. A female teenager was reported as a runaway in Berkeley, Mo. She was returned home.

Second-Degree Burglary: The vacant Emerson building located at 8400 Pershall Rd., was burglarized. Tools were recovered inside and HPD thinks the theives were attempting to steal copper piping.

Drug Arrest: A person was arrested for having drugs during a traffic stop in the 7400 block of N. Lindbergh Blvd.
