Car Crashes Into Hazelwood Home, No Serious Injuries Reported

A Coachway Lane home will never be the same after an early morning car accident.

Multiple reports are indicating that an older driver crashed into the home in the 400 block. No serious injuries have been reported, but according to police, the driver was taken to the hospital for minor scrapes.

KSDK is reporting that for reasons unknown, the driver lost control and drove through the yard before crashing into the front of a home around 2:30 a.m. The responded to the accident and was on the scene.

The house did sustain damage to the siding a portion of the upper half of the foundation. There was also a pole that was down when Hazelwood Patch drove past Thursday morning. The point-of-impact is currently boarded.

KMOV reports that driver, a female senior citizen, hit the home when she lost control of her car, after a subsequent missed turn.
