Bank Robber Caught: North County Man Allegedly Held Up Credit Union
Police said the man gave a teller a note demanding cash, stating he had a gun near Hazelwood.
A North County man robbed St. Louis Community Credit Union at about 1:40 p.m. Dec. 5, Florissant Police said.
Ronald D. Oliver, 32, of the 10400 block of Duke Drive in North County just east of Dellwood, was charged Friday with first-degree robbery in the incident at the credit union at 1250 Graham Road in Florissant less than a mile from the City of Hazelwood.
Florissant Police said Oliver handed the teller a note that demanded money and read that he had a weapon. Oliver left with $8,300 and fled towards Hazelwood on North Hanley Road. Police caught him later.

Oliver is being held in St. Louis County jail. Bail was set at $100,000.
