The List: Time to Spring Clean the House

Here's Patch Picks ways to freshen up the inside of your home just in time for spring.

Last focused on ways to prepare the outside of the home for spring. This week we focus on how to Spring Clean the inside of your home.

  1. One of the biggest components to spring is the sunshine. In order to allow the maximum amount of light to enter your home it is important to spring-clean your windows. Clean both the inside and outside of all windows and wipe both vertically and horizontally for the best results. If you can’t reach all of them or would rather leave it to a professional, then give a call and you’ll “see the light.”

  2. One of the best parts of spring is being able to open the windows and let in some fresh air. So once all the windows are clean it’s time to check out their screens. If there are any tears or holes then it’s time to have them repaired. Spring and summer are optimum times for insects to creep their way into the home and that could become a major issue in the upcoming months.
