First Signs of Spring Fun

There's a warm weekend ahead and with that Hazelwood Patch has some things to do with the kids.

If you're the type of parent that only like to take your children to educational events, there's something for you. If you're the type that feels the weekends are to have fund, we've got you covered also. Check out these fun events for the entire family.

  • Why Go: Reading is fundamental. Share a good book with your children while mingling with other area kids.

  • Pricing: Free but space is limited, first come

  • When/Where: Thursday, March 17, 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Make Believe Theatre and Arts Centre in St. Charles.

  • Why Go: Bring your child aged six months to 10 years to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with crafts, stories, music and more!

  • Pricing: Free 

  • When/Where: March 17-20 at the . Show times are: Thursday, March 17 - 7 p.m., Friday, March 18 - 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 19 - 10 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 20 - 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.

  • Why Go: It’s the circus!

  • Pricing: General Admission: $12; Reserved: $17; VIP: $27; Executive VIP: $35

  • When/Where: Saturday, March 19 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the James J. Eagan Community Center.

  • Why Go: Need something to do with your child between the ages of 0-5? Come on up for a play day! Mats, balls, music and lots of toys provided!

  • Pricing: $1 Non-Resident- $2

  • When/Where: Saturday, March 19, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Willott Road Community Church in St. Peters.

  • Why Go: Looking for toys and crafts for the little ones? Come to WRCA and do some shopping with the kids!

  • Pricing: Free to get in
