Hazelwood's 2012 Branch Chipping Schedule Begins March 12

Be prepared at the city website says each street will only be visited once. Ensure you know your street's pickup date.

The 's annual collection of tree limbs and shrubbery trimmings begins the week of March 12. Residents should stack their trimmings at the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday morning of their designated week with the cut end facing the street.

City crews will collect brush on each street one time only during your scheduled collection week. View this schedule to find out when limbs on your street will be collected.

Here are a few tips from the city on how to prep your limbs:

  • Branches should not be cut into short pieces.
  • Do not put any wire, metal, trash, garden waste or other debris in the brush that is to be chipped. This could cause serious injury to the crew and damage the chipper.
  • Trimmings done by a contractor shall be hauled away by the contractor and not left at the curb for city crews to pick up.

No stumps or limbs larger than 6" in diameter will be taken.
