Hazelwood West High DECA, ALS fundraiser at Brookes Park
The DECA students have organized a civil consciousness project to increase community awareness for in Hazelwood.
This event will also raise money for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. It is also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Come on out to Brookes Park on Friday, May 27 from 7 - 9 p.m for a root beer party.

Brookes Park is home to three historic sites, including a one-room school house significant to the . Formerly known as Old Elm Grove School, the was relocated to the park in 1966.
Brookes Park is located near Interstate 270 and North Lindbergh Boulevard, next to . Admission is free.
Donations will be collected for ALS.
