How To Build A Growing Profitable Business

A 16-week Workshop In Business Opportunities (WIBO) program
for aspiring business owners will be offered this fall for the first time in
the mid-county area by the Grace Hill Women's Business Center. Classes will be held at University City High School.
WIBO is a “mini-MBA” that helps participants master
business basics, develop a business plan and act on their plans. The
program, "How To Build A Growing Profitable Business," starts Thursday,
Sept.
26. Sessions will be held weekly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at University
City High
School, 7401 Balson Ave. The last class is set for Jan. 30, 2014 with
graduation to follow on Feb. 1.
To qualify, WIBO participants must be in business or have a
business start-up idea. Program cost is $275, including all workshop materials.
Limited scholarship funds are available. To apply for the upcoming WIBO class,
contact Falencia Moore at 314-585-6840 or fmoore@gracehillsettlement.org.
The WIBO program is delivered in layman's language with a
track record of success. Graduates develop alumni support groups throughout the
region and the U. S. This program is financially supported by the U.S. Small
Business Administration, United Way and Grace Hill. For more
