Carnaval: #Brazil2014

Washington University's Association of Latin American Students (ALAS) proudly presents the 15th annual Carnaval, a student-run Latin cultural production featuring many dances as well as a skit. We strive to share with WashU the vibrant and lively traditions of Latin America and Spain, and we hope to raise awareness of Latino/Latin American issues.

This year's show will take place in Edison Theatre on Friday, March 28th at 7:30pm and on Saturday, March 29th at 3pm and 7:30pm.

Tickets on sale now at the Edison Box Office and online (https://www.vendini.com/ticket-software.html?t=tix&e=4a6a1f087f113160a62ca1c57cc6ebb3).

This year's show features the following dances: Bachata, Belly Dance, Cha Cha, Flamenco, Hip Hop, Latin Jazz, Salsa, Samba, Tango, West African, and Zapateado! There will also be special performances by Chamber Choir and Mariachi Cuicacalli.
