Patch Readers: I need your recipes!

Hey Patch readers, I need your help!

Spring is here and it’s time for another Recipe Roundup!  Last fall’s roundup went so well, I thought I’d do it again!

Those of us eating a clean diet have figured out that the best way to stay “clean” is to have tasty, healthy food on hand.  So, we’re always on the lookout for great new and simple recipes.  I know this because the recipe section is one of the most visited sections of my site!

So, I’m enlisting your help:  I’d like you to submit recipes that will be featured by YOU!  This is a great way to stretch yourself with something new, or share one of your family favorites.  Afterwards, we will all have a bunch of new recipes to try!

Here are the details:

1) This roundup’s theme is Spring/Summer recipes.

2) Please submit your recipe and photo to me via email at elaine@simply-healthy.com.  Cell phone photos are fine as long as they are clear.

3) All recipes must be Simply Healthy Approved.  This means they follow the clean eating way which includes veggies, fruit, nuts, seeds, whole grains, legumes, healthy fat, meat, fish, minimal to no refined and processed foods.  Think whole foods.

4) Recipes must be submitted by April 15!

5) The winner (by random drawing) will be announced April 19.

By the way, if your recipe comes completely from another site or book, please reference your source.

I can’t wait to see the side dishes, smoothies/juices, salads, snacks, main dishes, and desserts that you come up with!
