Hazelwood Supports Tornado Cleanup, Keeps Dumpsters Out for Debris

The city will continue providing dumpsters at designated locations until April 22.

Hazelwood officials said they are still committed to helping residents impacted by the tornado that hit the area just on week ago. In an effort to help residents with cleaning up storm debris around their homes, the city will continue providing dumpsters at the following locations until Monday, April 22:

  • 900 block of Townhouse
  • 900 block of Lynn Haven Lane
  • 1000 block of Teson Road

If people need assistance bringing storm debris to the curb or tossing it into a nearby dumpster, they can go by the Hazelwood Community Center and make arrangements with AmeriCorps St. Louis to have some volunteers assigned to help them. Or, they can call United Way of Greater St. Louis’ 2-1-1 hotline or 1-800-427-4626.
