As someone that lost a close family member to the 9/11 attacks, I can say that I am quite numb to the announcement. On one hand, I guess I'm supposed to be elated that this person is no longer living. On the other hand, his death will not bring back my cousin. She died days after the planes crashed into the area in which she worked at the Pentagon. The thoughts of her slow and painful death due to burns received at impact don't go away because he's dead. My family's heartache and grief does not dissipate.

And there are certainly more out there that have this terrorist's same sentiments toward Americans.

So what do we do with this announcement? What are your thoughts on this development in eliminating the man called the spiritual head of al Queda?
