SEKO Expands to Hazelwood

The company hires Ray Groeber, a 28-year logistics veteran, as the new strategic partner of the SEKO St. Louis area facility.

SEKO, a global provider of supply-chain solutions, including comprehensive transportation--freight and shipping, logistics and IT solutions has moved into Hazelwood.

With the new move, the company has hired a new strategic partner, Ray Groeber, who will head the Hazelwood location.

A global servicer, the Hazelwood location provides full-service freight operations throughout Metro St. Louis, as well as globally with international expertise and customs brokerage.

“I enthusiastically joined SEKO because of its stellar reputation and brand name,” Groeber said in a press release. “The company offers unparalleled resources to help us grow and better serve clients far beyond what we could do on our own. 

"I also expect our alliance with SEKO will help us to broaden our market both geographically and in other business sectors.”

William Wascher, president and CEO of SEKO also said he's please with the Hazelwood expansion of the company.

“Ray brings a wealth of logistics experience to SEKO,” Wascher said in a press release. “He and the St. Louis office will be terrific additions and contributors to SEKO’s U.S. and international network, and to our many clients.”

SEKO is located across the street from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport on Byassee Road.  It has more than 120,000 square feet of combined office and warehouse space.
