Northwest Chamber of Commerce Names a New President

Longtime chamber member Brian Goldman will take the reigns as new president and CEO.

It hasn't been quite two months since a left the (NWCC) without a leader, but on Wednesday, its Board of Directors announced Brian Goldman as its new president and CEO.

In an email Northwest Chamber of Commerce administrator Tina Herrmann sent out to chamber members, she describes Goldman as a "familiar face."

Goldman, who has been a member since 1999, has served on the NWCC Board of Directors for nine years, Executive Board of Directors for five of those years, and is a past chairman of the board.

“To have an opportunity to help take an organization that I love so much to the next level, is truly a dream come true," Goldman said via email. "This chamber has so much to offer to its members and its communities, that the possibilities are endless.”

Hermann said Goldman has been on the Committee or Chairman for every special event that the Chamber has; Chamber Golf Classic, Chili Dog Golf Tournament, , Casino Night, Bowl-a-Thon and Mouse Races.

Jerry Hart, chairman of the NWCC Board of Directors, said he is very pleased about the direction in which Goldman will take the chamber.

“Brian has the vision to grow our Chamber and our entire region in a very dynamic way," he said. "This is going to be an exciting time for the Chamber.”

Goldman has been an active member of the Northwest Business Community and is a past recipient of the ‘Business Person of the Year’ for both the Northwest and the Maryland Heights Chamber of Commerce, the ‘YMCA Volunteer of the Year’, a ‘Coach of the Year’ and “30 Leaders in Their 30’s" award.
