New Year Brings New Fitness Center to Hazelwood

Feel Good Fitness is a 2,000 square foot fitness center specializing in dance exercise that opened across from the Nike Factory Store at St. Louis Outlet Mall Wednesday.

A new fitness center has made its way to St. Louis Outlet Mall. Feel Good Fitness, the brainchild of St. Louis fitness trainer Alicia Dillon is a 2,000 square foot fitness center specializing in dance exercise.

Feel Good Fitness will offer a variety of classes including five different styles of Zumba, Hip Hop, Chair Cardio, Boot Camp, and Mommy and Me – all taught by certified personal trainers.  Feel Good Fitness will also offer counsel from a weight management coach. It opened Wednesday and is located across from the Nike Factory Store.

“We use the joy of moving to music to increase body strength and flexibility through bending, jumping, twisting, kicking, and using only one’s body weight for resistance,” Dillon said.

Dillon is a licensed Zumba instructor, a youth cheer coach for I-9 Sports and a cheerleading coach at North County Technical High School

Feel Good Fitness will not require a membership, fitness enthusiasts will pay for individual classes. The first 100 customers will receive a grand opening special rate of $6 per class and a free sports water bottle.

The center will be open seven days per week during mall hours, and classes are offered throughout the day.

“Feel Good Fitness fits right into the St. Louis Outlet Mall makeup,” said David Reed, St. Louis Outlet Mall’s manager.  “There is so much more than shopping here.

"A fitness center makes St. Louis Outlet Mall even more of a well-rounded destination for St. Louisans.”

I'm not sure exactly what was housed there Chris but it's near the area were there is/was a family jump center and the World International Karate facility. I put in a call asking. I'll post it here when I get a response.

Fees per class can become quite costly.
