Kelly's Donuts Is A Bright Spot in Hazelwood

This neighborhood doughnut shop ensures that you'll have a delicious start to every morning.

Nestled in an unassuming strip mall on Lindbergh Boulevard lies one of Hazelwood’s best kept secrets. While it may not seem like much to the casual observer, just one step inside will change your perception.

This mystical place? . This modest doughnut shop has been in Hazelwood for years, creating dozens upon dozens of hot, fresh doughnuts. And it doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

I walked into Kelly’s Donuts on a busy weekday morning and was immediately impressed by the variety of donuts from which to choose. Whether you enjoy cake donuts, glazed donuts or even cinnamon rolls, Kelly’s Donuts has you covered. And at $6.99 a dozen, the prices won’t break the bank, either.

Kelly’s Donuts also features a number of breakfast specials on the menu, ranging from the bacon, egg and cheese omelet ($3.99) to the old fashioned egg sandwich with bacon ($2.00). The breakfast specials, along with the large variety of doughnuts, including glazed, sugar, and long johns, is served until closing time at 1 p.m. If they last that long, that is.

During my visit to Kelly’s Donuts, after perusing the offerings, I finally settled on a frosted cake donut with sprinkles, as well as a regular glazed.

Both doughnuts were absolutely delicious. They were obviously fresh and had a subtle yeasty smell that made me imagine I was in a true French bakery.

The next time you find yourself craving a deliciously prepared donut, look no further than Kelly’s Donuts. Your stomach will thank you.
