Hazelwood Residents Rolling in the Big Bucks

With talk of the economy slumping back into a recession, this group of recent lottery winners can breathe a sigh of relief. For those listed below, they dabbled in playing the Missouri Lottery with a Scratchers ticket or playing the Powerball  and it appears to have paid off.

The Missouri Lottery has released a list of its winners for the month of September, which made up more than $5.3 million in prizes.

No millionaires were made in Hazelwood in September. There also were no people that at the on Missouri Bottom Road won big playing "$200,000 A Year For Life."

Neighbors not too far away in Florissant fared a little bit better with more than 15 people winning off the $1,000 Scratchers, one person winning on the $5,000 Scratchers, four Club Keno winners, six Pick 4 winners and one $10,000 Mega Millions winner.
