Frugal Family: Last Minute Deals for Dad

Save a few bucks this week by utilizing some of the deals below to get dad something you know he'll want for Father's Day. In this week's Frugal Family column, we've got everything from free pictures for dad, to free food for dad. The themes are "FREE" and "DAD." 1. FATHER'S DAY WORKSHOP SPECIAL AT HOME DEPOT

• Deal: The Home Depot's Kids Workshops is offering free creation of toolboxes for dad Saturday only. The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, this fun time allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children. Along with the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates' aprons and an achievement pin.

2. FATHER'S DAY KEY CHAIN SPECIAL AT MICHAELS

• Deal: Michaels has had make-it-take-it events all month in honor of Father's Day. Saturday is your  child's last chance to make a keepsake for the favorite guy in their life. Stop in and your child can make a key chain for dad. This event is for children 3-years-old and older.
