Free Wi-Fi Coming to Lambert Airport, 20 Minutes Worth

No longer will you have to pay for Internet access. Lambert-St. Louis International Airport plans to soon begin giving travelers 20 minutes for free.

Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is working on changing its Wi-Fi network to allow passengers and visitors to connect to its wireless internet for free. It would only be free for the first 20 minutes.

The change is part of a contract amendment with Boingo, the airport's Wi-Fi provider, according to a press release.

The St. Louis Airport Commission approved the measure, and is now waiting final approval by the City of St. Louis.

If the contract change is fully approved, the limited free Wi-Fi service would begin November 1, 2013. For customers logging on longer than 20 minutes, the normal $7.95 access fee would apply.
