Boy Scouts Christmas Tree Curbside Pickup, Recycling in January

Curbside Christmas tree pickup provided by local Boy Scouts. Annual fundraiser event so you do not have to deal with the hassle of disposing your tree.

Boy Scout Troop 740 of Hazelwood and Florissant will be recycling Christmas trees on every Saturday in January, providing an easy way for residents to dispose of their used trees, help the environment and support the youth of the area.

This will be the first year the troop has offered the pick-up service, which will include up to 20 scout participants.  Suggested donation for the service is $10-25.  The service is one of the primary fundraising sources for scouting in the North County community.

Residents wishing to participate should complete the on-line form found at www.tinyurl.com/troop740

Curbside pickups begin at 8 a.m. on Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26.

For questions pertaining to the recycling effort, please contact  314-643-7003.
