Meet the Miss Hazelwood Candidates

The Miss Hazelwood Coronation will occur at 10:30 a.m. The reigning 2010 Miss Hazelwood Nikki Napolitano will host this year’s coronation ceremony on the stage of the St. Louis County Bandwagon located by the tennis courts.

Below are the final three ladies that are part of the 2011 Miss Hazelwood Court, and up for the role of Miss Hazelwood.

Samantha Rieke

Favorite hobbies: Samantha plays varsity lacrosse and junior varsity volleyball.  She also spends time as a children’s camp counselor, tutors students from Hazelwood West Middle School, teaches Vacation Bible School, works as a teacher’s aid during the summer, and participates annually in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk.

Danielle Sutherland

Year: Senior
Favorite hobbies: Danielle is a member of the Hazelwood Student Council, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Hazelwood Student Advisory, President of Thespian Troupe #786, and member of Girl Scout Troop #1281. She is also involved with the Alpha Players of Florissant, the JAM Choir at First Christian Church of Florissant, and Variety Children’s Adventure Camp.  

Jessica Wehmer

Year: Junior
Favorite hobbies: Jessica is currently a lifeguard for Lifeguard Unlimited.  She also managed the wrestling team last year and was a commit member for the Special Olympics.  In addition, she’s an avid supporter of her high school’s varsity sports teams.
