Hand-Made Paper Sculptures on Display at Lambert Airport, Open to the Public

The exhibition runs through October 21, and features the work of six nationally known artists who create sculptures out of hand-made paper.

Paper has gained a new use for airport travelers other than as tickets. Paper has turned into art at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport  where Craft Alliance (CA) is showcasing its Paper Trails exhibition.

Travelers can view the works of are at The Meeting Place Gallery in Lambert’s Terminal 1 Bag Claim, which means the public can get a glimpse as well.

The exhibition runs through October 21, and features the work of six nationally known artists who create sculptures out of hand-made paper.

The exhibit is part of Lambert’s Art and Culture Program, which has St. Louis Regional Arts Commission support.

Each featured artist in Paper Trails uses paper-making to communicate ideas and challenges. Featured artists include Jennifer Baker, Joan Hall, Tom Lang, Marie McInerney, Megan Singleton and Jo Stealey.
