The Hazelwood Community Enrichment Commission will be celebrating a decade of for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at its 2012 event scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 15.
This special program is open to the public and offers free admission.
The keynote speaker will be Lawrence Ragland, D.D., a nationally recognized speaker and pastor of Progressive Baptist Church in Paris, Tenn. He’s been the recipient of several impressive awards including the MLK Keeper of the Dream Award, Points of Light Award, Men of Excellence Award, and the Presidential Service Award.

Other participants include Dr. Rance Thomas, co-founder and president of the North County Churches Uniting for Racial Harmony and Justice Organization (NCCU), Mayor Matthew Robinson of Hazelwood, and 2011-2012 Samantha Rieke.
