The Overland Farmers Market is a popular destination for people seeking fresh, locally grown vegetables, fresh fruit and other produce, plus arts, crafts and consumer goods available from vendors in a festive market atmosphere.   The Overland Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., weather permitting, and will continue operating this year until October 20th before re-opening in May 2013.

“We have a strong commitment to fostering and supporting local growers and farmers,” said Mr. Kilzer. “The majority of our vendors are local producers of fruits, vegetables, other edible products and plants, in addition to vendors who offer arts and crafts and other types of consumer goods for sale after being approved by our Management Committee.”

2012 is the fifth consecutive year of operation for The Overland Farmers Market, which is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Potential vendors are welcome to apply for an application by calling (314) 769-6360 or by visiting the website http://www.overlandfarmersmarket.com/.
