Chaz45 Band Closes Hazelwood’s Free Summer Concert Series

The Chaz45 Band's encore performance was held at Truman Park's gazebo.

presented its final act in the at gazebo August 13.

The Chaz45 Band provided music lovers with R&B, Funk and Classic Rock. According to band leader, Charles Henson, the band covers everything from Earth, Wind, and Fire to Lynyrd Skynyrd. Light rain during the day seemed to drive some away. Fortunately, plenty of Hazelwood residents still appeared with blankets and lawn chairs looking for a last bit of summer music fun. The City of Hazelwood Parks and Recreation Division had a shuttle service on standby from to make things easier.

Hazelwood’s Free Summer Concert Series may be over; but, there is is still plenty of free music in the area. and both have similar concert series that are also featuring their last shows. Likewise, has its Jazz and Blues Vespers Series ongoing.
