'Patch' Readers Get Active on Facebook and Twitter

We've had some active conversations this week on the 'Hazelwood Patch' Facebook and Twitter Pages with readers, as well as new fans, followers and picture uploads.

Conversation on our Facebook and Twitter pages has been increasing this week, and we have to thank our readers for this.

This past week, we saw a rise in our Facebook “likes." We now have 313 Facebook fans and 724 Twitter followers.

People also gave their opinions the new look of the Hazelwood Patch Facebook page when we and what picture should be featured. Thanks to Bill Olwig, Michele Schindler-Bauer, Kelly Kirkbride, Jeanine Kastrup Gahr, Councilwoman Mary Singleton, Liz Kiernan, Annette Pentecost, Allan Paschal, St. Charles Patch and St. Louis radio personality Tammie Holland for helping out with that.

Getting into the Twitter-speak

In the Twitter world, we continue to see a rise in regional followers, such as @FergusonScoop ‏ @nightlifestl@STLRocks and @TBTII. But we want to make sure that Hazelwood folks are getting into the mix, so make sure to follow us @HazelwoodPatch

Just like Facebook, we provide updates and news through our tweets, but we also pose questions and re-tweet information about the and St. Louis County and whatever that is felt to be timely.
