MoDOT Plans for I-270 Ramp, Lane Closures Thursday Night

Make sure to plan alternate routes as ramp and lane closures will begin at 9 p.m. Thursday.

If you’re planning to use Interstate 270 Thursday night in North County, make sure you have alternate routes planned.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close down parts of the interstate again Thursday for pavement repair. The closures started Wednesday night.

MoDOT will begin with closing the ramp toward westbound I-270 to Lindbergh and 9 p.m., followed by the ramp from northbound Interstate 170 to westbound I-270 at 10 p.m. The right lane of westbound I-270 between I-170 and Lindbergh will also be closed, and all ramps and lanes will open in time for the morning commute at 6 a.m.

MoDOT suggests drivers use detour onto eastbound I-270 if trying to go westbound from north I-170. It also suggests using the McDonnell Boulevard exit if on westbound I-270 if wanting to get on Lindbergh as eastbound I-270 will have access. No further closures or work was announced at time of publication.
