Hazelwood Residents Face Off in Texas Hold'em Tournament
Evening rain is no match for cards, food and friendly atmosphere.
held a Texas Hold'em tournament Friday. Open to residents and non-residents, the tourney drew players from all ranges of experience for an evening of enjoyment at Hazelwood's . The tournament is held twice a year, in August and January. The August 12 tournament was the third such event. The next tournament will be during the first week of January in 2012.
There is no actual cash gambling in the event, simply a fun game played with a chance at trophy recognition. Admission, $10, gets participants food soda, and $10,000 in playing chips.
