This week's Grab & Go Kids Planner has great ideas to get the mind rolling and the body moving.

This is the fourth installment of our Grab & Go Kids Planner. I hope you enjoyed a few of last week's ideas with your family. Here are some things you can get out and do in and around the.

STORY TIME

  • Where/When: , March 2  at 10 a.m. and  2 p.m.

  • Why Go: Reading is fundamental. Share a good book with your children while mingling with other area kids.

  • Pricing: Free but space is limited, first come

  • When/Where: 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Thursday, March 3 at

  • Why Go: If you love crafting and meeting people, this is the event for you.  Bring your best knitting, crocheting, needlework, or any craft project.  Registration is required and activity will take place in the library's small meeting room first thursday of every month.

  • Pricing: Free

  • When/Where: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Friday, March 4 at

  • Why Go: This is a safe teen night event first for children 12 and under, open gym format with music, dance, cheerleading,trampoline, tumbling, and plenty of flipping fun. At 9 p.m., teens ages 12 and up can have their event until 10:30 p.m.

  • Pricing: $7 for members, $10 for non-members

  • Where/When: Parade route begins at North Riverside Drive and ends at the , St. Charles. Saturday, Noon.

  • Why Go: Clowns, a fleet of  little cars, floats, music and all the fun stuff that comes with this famous circus. The parade kicks off the new season of Moolah Shrine Circus. It's just a quick drive over the bridge!

  • Pricing: Free

SATURDAY PLAY DAYS

  • Where/When:

  • Why Go: Have a  play date with your little ones, ages zero through five. Mats, balls, music and lots of toys provided!

  • Pricing: Residents $1. Non-Residents $2
