Abandoned Hazelwood Home Worries Neighbors
Neighbors report the vacant house's basement filled with 3-feet of standing water and mold, along with rodents as two reasons it isn't safe.
A vacant home in Hazelwood has fallen into disrepair and has some neighbors concerned.
The house, which is situation just off Howdershell Road near Lynn Haven Lane is boarded up and has caught fire once. According to KMOV the home has 3-feet of water in the basement along with associated mold, while tar and not roof shingles holds the roof together.
Residents say they are fed up after complaining for many years, with what they feel is no action being taken at the municipal level.
