North County Job Seekers Put in Work at STL Diversity Career Fair

We're giving you five things to know about Wednesday's fair.

If you’re in the market for a new job, then you might have a full day lined up Wednesday.

St. Louis County Library has partnered with Critique It for a Diversity Career Fair, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Florissant Valley Branch.

Here’s a rundown of what you should know and can expect from the fair.

  1. Graybar Electric, US Bank, St. Louis University, Special School District of St. Louis County and Whelan Security are among the companies that will be available for jobseekers to meet face to face for opportunities.
  2. Before the fair starts up, there will be a session discussing “Networking a Career Fair,” starting at 10 a.m. for those interested.
  3. Those who plan to attend the fair should bring multiple copies of their resume, business cards and wear professional or business casual attire.
  4. Although it stands separate from the career fair, the library will host a Tips for Job Seekers session in its monthly Tech Talk. It will be held during the fair, 2-4 p.m.
  5. Each session, including the fair, can be registered for on the Florissant Valley branch website.
