North County Man, 45, Charged With Statutory Rape of 13-Year-Old Who Says She Loves Him
The girl was found at the man's home, hiding under a pile of clothes, Hazelwood Police said. He sent her text messages, telling her he was waiting for her, according to reports.

A 45-year-old North County man faces criminal charges after police said he had sex with a 13-year-old girl Aug. 26.
Robin Thomas, of the 9700 block of Conquistador Walk in North County between Dellwood and Bellefontaine Neighbors, was charged Thursday with first-degree statutory rape.

Hazelwood Police said Thomas sent the girl suggestive text messages telling her he was waiting for her to come to his home. The girl was found in Thomas’ apartment hiding under a pile of clothes.
The girl told Hazelwood Police she had sex with Thomas and is in love with him, according to a police report.
Bail was set at $75,000.
