Hello Snow!

Snow and freezing temperatures make their way to Hazelwood.

By now you have awakened to find a small batch of snow and ice at your doorstep. No fear, the Hazelwood School District has not cancelled classes, so if you have children, that means you don't have to find a sitter or take off to watch them. Off to work you go!

According to local meteorologists, one to three inches of snow was anticipated to fall across the St. Louis area by Thursday evening.

KSDK is reported snowfall would begin overnight and by sunrise approximately an inch would lay. The National Weather Service  has also issued a winter weather advisory for St. Louis County.

KMOV reported that freezing temperatures would arrive along with the snow, and currently its 19 degrees in the City of Hazelwood. Gusting winds are here accompanying the cold and snow, which KMOV reports will taper off around noon Thursday with flurries possible in the afternoon.

You can check Hazelwood Patch's Traffic tab for any accidents and problems during your Thursday commute.
