Headaches Be Gone: Excedrin Migraine Returning to Hazelwood Stores Soon

The product has been off the shelves since it was recalled in January.

Migraine sufferers, relief is in sight.

Novartis, the manufacturer of Excedrin, announced Monday in an email to customers that Excedrin Migraine, which has been off the market since a January recall, is being shipped to stores this week.

Novartis said that Excedrin Migraine should be back on store shelves in the next few weeks.

Excedrin Migraine was one of several products recalled by Novartis in January after an internal investigation and complaints of "broken gelcaps, chipped tablets and inconsistent bottle packaging line clearance practices."

Other recalled products included Bufferin, Gas-X, No-Doz and other Excedrin products.

The company announced in August that production had resumed on Excedrin products.

I'm so glad to hear this! I am a migraine sufferer and excedrin migraine is usually my go to over the counter drug of choice. I've been buying the generic for a little while now and I dont feel like they worked as well.

I am with you, Jim! I have occasional migraines myself and the Excedrin does seem to work so much better than most OTC meds. Thanks for the comment!
